At the German MENA Conference organized by the German Near and Middle East Association NUMOV, H.E. Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah delivered a Speech on "Energy Efficiency and Sustainable Development." His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, Chairman of the Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah International Foundation for Energy & Sustainable Development and the former Minister of Energy and Industry, participated in the Assembly meeting of the Board of Directors of the German Near and Middle East Association (NUMOV) in Berlin. The meeting discussed former and future plans of the NUMOV and its financial outcome.
The participation of H.E. Al-Attiyah arose due to the trust accorded by NUMOV in the Foundation. They recognized the important role the Foundation is playing as an independent think tank that provides insights about issues that affect the energy industry and sustainable development.
NUMOV is Germany's oldest and largest NGO for the region of the Near and Middle East. NUMOV's mission is to promote trade and investment between Germany and the countries of the Near and Middle East. Al-Attiyah is also a member of the Board of NUMOV’s International Management Board, which includes prominent figures from several countries in the region.
