Mr. Ahmad Saif Al-Sulaiti is a seasoned energy industry professional whose remarkable career has spanned over 46 years. He embarked on his journey with Shell Qatar as a trainee, where he honed his skills in offshore operations and oil rigs. He then pursued higher education in the United Kingdom and graduated with a Higher Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Carlett Park College in 1984. Renowned for its practical engineering expertise, Carlett Park College, now a part of Wirral Metropolitan College, provided him with a strong foundation for his future endeavors.

Professor Stern contributed to the OIES becoming a world leading independent energy research institute. OIES produces high quality, independent research and publishes landmark studies of topical energy issues concerning production, consumption, markets, policy, regulation, and the energy transition across the entire global energy economy.
