Stephen Cole is one of the world’s most experienced international television anchors, having uniquely helped launch five global news channels including Sky News, CNN International, BBC World, Al Jazeera, and CGTN Europe. Over his career he has chaired major international forums across the Middle East, Central Asia, the United States and Europe, and conducted high-profile interviews with presidents, prime ministers, and leading cultural figures. He also wrote and hosted the BBC’s Oscars Special for six years and created the BBC’s pioneering technology programme Click Online, taking it to 28 countries and earning praise from Bill Gates, Larry Ellison and Arthur C. Clarke.
Beyond broadcasting, Stephen has chaired sessions at the United Nations, hosted the Global IT Summit in Adelaide with President Clinton, and continues to be in high demand for analysis on the Middle East, Brexit, China, and global media trends. He has also chaired conferences in education, finance, health and technology, and is an award-winning travel writer with articles published worldwide. Stephen has served on several boards, including London Welsh Rugby Club, Brazil Communications and the Global Thinkers Forum.
